We have had a very busy few months providing Chocolate Fountains for weddings at the Bristol Marriott, The Marriott Royal, The Ramada Grange, and The Barn Function Centre in Gloucester to name but a few. All fantastic venues and enjoyable events. Coming up in the next month we have Weddings at the Marriot again and also Cumberwell Park which we are looking forward to.
The World of Weddings Wedding Fair at the Bristol Marriott on Sunday went very well and we will soon be announcing the lucky winner of our competition who will win Free hire of our drinks fountain. Watch this space…

It was lovely to meet all the people at the fair who are planning their big days. Everyone seemed to enjoy tasting our Chocolate Fountain even though some people admitted to having Sunday hangovers and were a bit reluctant to try at first!
We had a lot of great feedback and comments especially about the taste of our chocolate and the way we display our dips. People also seemed to love the edible glitter we had sprinkled on them.
We had a comment from one lady who was surprised the chocolate was warm! – She said the fountain she had tasted before had cold chocolate and was also oily and didn’t stay on the dips! – We advised her that our Chocolate is always warm as at room temperature the chocolate would solidify. The only way of keeping chocolate runny if it was cold is to add lots of cooking oil! Cooking oil can also ruin the taste of the chocolate.
We advised her that we only use the best quality Belgian chocolate and only add natural Coco butter to make the chocolate run smoothly. We would never use cooking oil in our fountains!
Quite a few people were surprised by how cost effective having a fountain can be – as little as £2 per head (depending on time and number of guests), especially if you have it as an alternative to dessert. It’s also great entertainment for the guests!
Even though Chocolate Fountains have been around for quite a few years now we still get so many people coming up to us at each event in amazement saying they have never seen one before!

New Photos!
The Fair was also a great opportunity to have some new professional photo’s taken for our website,flyers, business cards and leaflets.
Stuart Herbison of Lemon Lane Photography was kind enough to come along and take some fantastic shots of the Fountain and dips for us. We were very excited to see them for the first time today and would definitely recommend his photography services to anyone.
